On July 10, 2025, SUNLU celebrates its 12th anniversary in the 3D printing industry. To mark the occasion, the company is running a month-long promotion, "Unleash Your Creativity", offering discounts, gifts, and giveaways. Among the prizes, 1,000 rolls of filament are up for grabs. In addition, the company has introduced a new product: the AMS Heater for Bambu Lab's P1 and X1 series printers.

The AMS Heater enables simultaneous filament drying and direct printing. It is designed to be a more affordable alternative to the Bambu Lab's proprietary AMS 2 Pro, though it may not fully match the original in all aspects. The installation process takes only two minutes.

The AMS Heater reaches a temperature of 70°C in about 20 minutes and is compact enough to allow for multi-color printing without taking up additional space. Users can simply replace the standard AMS cover with the heater. It features an integrated fan heating system for even, consistent drying. The smart moisture control system monitors the humidity within the AMS system in real-time and activates dehumidification as necessary to ensure low humidity levels for the filament.

A PTC heating element serves as an additional safety feature, while temperature control is managed via software to prevent filament deformation or damage. The heater is designed to maintain a constant temperature during operation, with ventilation holes on top that must be manually opened or closed. An alarm will sound if abnormal temperature fluctuations occur.

The pre-order phase for the AMS Heater begins today and runs until August 25th, available at an introductory price of €99.99. The final retail price will be around €120.
