Drying and printing are performed simultaneously. This is a heater that can upgrade the upper cover of the AMS. Compared to the traditional printing process using the AMS, which requires drying before printing, the upgraded version allows for simultaneous printing and drying.

High-efficiency heating with uniform temperature distribution, reaching 70°C within 20 minutes. The dual airflow design ensures even heat circulation, preventing localized overheating of materials and effectively reducing the risk of thermal deformation.

High compatibility: After upgrading to the AMS Heater, it supports stacked 16-color printing and saves space. Upgrades the heater for the AMS Generation 1 upper cover, seamlessly integrating with the Generation 1 seal strip and fully compatible with the Generation 1 seal preservation function.

Simple upgrade process: Loosen—disassemble—tighten, completed in just 2 minutes.

Intelligent humidity monitoring:  
① Humidity mode default heating temperature: 55°C—users can adjust and save the temperature.  
② Default operating time: 6 hours.  
③ After the countdown ends, the device does not shut down; it automatically starts heating when humidity rises to 50% and stops heating when humidity drops to 20%.  
④ In rH mode, users can adjust humidity (range: 25%–50%).  
After adjustment, the humidity automatically starts using this set value.

Safe and Reliable:
PTC heating. Dual-level protection with a temperature control switch. Software-based intelligent temperature control, real-time temperature monitoring, and automatic control of the heating system. Maximum drying temperature of 70°C. Alarms are triggered when the temperature exceeds the set value by 10°C, when the temperature fails to rise, or when the fan malfunctions. About the rH Mode

When the AMS heater is in "rH Mode", the display screen will remain on after the countdown ends, and the "Time" indicator will show "Close".

In "rH Mode", the default humidity threshold is set to 50%. When the humidity exceeds 50%, the AMS heater will start heating.

Users can adjust the activation threshold for "rH Mode" within a range of 25% to 50%, depending on their needs.

For example, if set to 25%, the heater will activate once the humidity exceeds 25%. When the humidity drops to 20%, the AMS heater will stop heating and switch to standby mode.

This SUNLU AMS Heater is compatible with the Bambu Lab AMS - Automatic Material System.

  • Based on internal testing, it is also compatible with the Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro - Automatic Material System (with the same installation dimensions as the AMS 1st gen).
  • Please note that this product is optimized and upgraded exclusively for Bambu Lab's AMS, and is not compatible with Automatic Material Systems from other brands.
  • Regarding the visibility of the lid, the entire lid is not fully transparent. There is a transparent area on the front of the lid that allows you to see the internal operation.
  • When opening this product, lift it only to the designated stop position. Pay attention to the opening angle and force to avoid damage from excessive movement.
  • To ensure optimal drying results, do not open the AMS Heater during the drying process.
  • When the ambient temperature is below 10℃, slow heating or the actual temperature inside the chamber being slightly lower than the displayed temperature is normal.
  • When setting the working temperature to 70℃, please ensure the filament spool has a temperature tolerance greater than 70℃ to avoid deformation.
  1. Do not place the SUNLU AMS Heater within the reach of children. Electrical safety should be observed during operation. Do not use this product near water, such as bathrooms, bathtubs washbasins and other places where water is easily accessible.
  2. Please use the original power cord or a power cord that meets the safety certification requirements.
  3. When not using this product, please turn off the power to avoid sudden fire.
  4. During the working process of this product, please do not put the product on the objects which are sensitive to temperature.
  5. Do not touch the heater or fan inside the box during the working process of this product to avoid burns. When drying filaments, the top cover of the drying box should be covered to avoid heat dissipation. Avoid moving this product during normal operation to prevent burns caused by the high temperature of the outer surface.
  6. Please do not block the internal air inlet and outlet to avoid abnormal heat accumulation.
  7. If the product malfunctions, please turn off the power and disconnect the power cord from the power outlet, then contact the after-sales support team (support@sunlu.com).
  • Issue: Failure to Power On
    Possible Causes: Abnormal Power Connection
    Troubleshooting Methods: Check whether the power cord is properly connected to the socket ,and verifyif the fuse is blown.
  • Issue: Screen Garbling/Incomplete Display
    Possible Causes: Poor contact or a damaged display screen.
    Troubleshooting Methods: Power off and restart. If the issue persists, the display screen may need to be replaced. Please contact us via support@sunlu.com.
  • Issue: ER1
    Possible Causes: Abnormal Temperature Detection
    Troubleshooting Methods: Check whether the temperature sensor connection is secure.
